Time to act on climate change
MPs have heard that the government must start planning - and acting - now if it's to meet a target to cut greenhouse gas emissions to nearly zero by 2050.
Last week the committee on climate change - which advises the government - recommended that the UK should lead the global fight against climate change by cutting emissions to that level.
Alicia McCarthy reports.
