'Do you ever think it's just not fair!?'

Deborah James talks about feeling "bitterly angry" about the unfairness of cancer.

"Every single time I'm back on treatment I think I don't want to be here.

"And then seeing what you two are going through," continued the 37-year-old, referring to co-presenter Steve Bland and former England cricket captain Andrew Strauss, who both lost their wives to cancer.

Steve's wife Rachael is the creator of the #YouMeBigC podcast, originally presented alongside Deborah James and Lauren Mahon and died from breast cancer in September 2018.

Andrew's wife Ruth died aged 46 in December 2018 from a rare lung cancer.
