Is climate change to blame for Western Europe's heatwave?

Much of Western Europe is facing record-breaking temperatures again, with the second heatwave in only a month.

A red alert has been issued in France, trains in the UK have been ordered to run more slowly to stop tracks buckling and some rivers in Germany have dried up.

According to climate scientist Clare Nellis, who speaks on behalf of the World Meteorological Organisation, these high temperatures are the "new norm".
