'It has ripped my soul out of my body'
The father of a young Derry mother who died last December blames her abuse of prescription and counterfeit drugs for her death. Gerald Deehan says he tried to resuscitate Amanda, who was just 34 at the time, when he found her unresponsive in her room. She died days later in hospital. Her family put her addiction to Xanax and other prescription and counterfeit drugs down to her mental health and are calling for a detox unit in the city. Mr Deehan has been speaking to our reporter Will Burton.
