Kerri is a 28 year old who lives with fibromyalgia, a condition that causes pain all over her body. With poor mobility and unable to work, she now feels like a prisoner in her own house. Dressed in all black with a grown out brown bob, Kerri feels a world away from the person she feels she is on the inside.
In the salon chair, Sophia discovers that Kerri鈥檚 only outlet is online gaming and Cosplay, where she borrows other people鈥檚 characters. Determined to give her an identity she can finally call her own, Sophia plans an ambitious hair overhaul. The vision for Kerri鈥檚 new look is based on the colours of a Tequila Sunrise but it鈥檚 an epic dye job.
Fashion expert, Twinks, delves into Kerri鈥檚 dream style and finds out that in the online world, she鈥檚 鈥楧iva K鈥� 鈥� a fantasy persona. Using Sophia鈥檚 red, orange and pink colour palette, Twinks plans to bring Kerri鈥檚 virtual diva to life. In the make-up chair, Paige shows Kerri how to rock a red lip to compliment a flame coloured transformation.
Kerri arrived at the salon feeling insecure and invisible and left having released her inner diva.
