Climate change: How much could global sea levels rise?

A report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) warns that melting ice from Greenland, Antarctica and glaciers elsewhere is driving up sea levels across the globe. The researchers say this could leave nearly 700 million people living in coastal areas at risk of flooding by the end of the century. One of the report's authors, Dr Phillip Williamson from the Natural Environment Research Council, explains the projections.
