Physical Risk
Two film-makers who have exposed themselves to personal danger, discuss taking physical risks for their work. Oscar-winning director Orlando von Einsiedel (The White Helmets, Virunga) discusses filming in Iraq, Afghanistan, and in the Democratic Republic of Congo as civil war broke out. Hassan Akkad discusses filming his journey from Damascus to the UK via the Calais 鈥楯ungle鈥�, including a dangerous boat crossing from Turkey to Greece where the boat began to sink, footage which featured in the 麻豆官网首页入口 series Exodus.
