"...if only we'd known there that would be the last flower show..." - Gary Long on the CPGG's 'virtual' flower shows
When it comes to flower shows, there's usually a certain rhythm to things.
You pick the bloom you think has the best chance of winning, you transport it carefully to the show venue, and wait nervously while the judges decide whether or not it's worthy of one of the prestigious prizes on offer.
Unfortunately, COVID-19 has put pay to that routine this year - which is why a group in Cornwall is looking to recreate the experience online.
