Police brutality is 'just the spark that lit the powder keg'
Protests sparked by the death of George Floyd at the hands of a white police officer in Minnesota have continued across the United States.
Whereas the many instances of police violence have been the focus of anger in recent days, discussion has also turned to the deeper causes of racial inequality in the country, and around the world.
Hank Johnson, a Democrat Congressman representing an eastern district of Atlanta, Georgia, is Secretary of the Congressional Black Caucus. He says the death of George Floyd is the spark that lit a powder keg of issues.
