This light and sentimental song is from one of Novello's lesser known plays 'Arc de Triomphe' (1943) which tells the story of a singer trying to navigate the ups and downs of a career in opera. 'Easy to live with' is full of innocent romance with a saccharine-sweet melody, an optimistic song of loyalty and love.
