Written in the 1940s 'Cinderella's Waltz' from Prokofiev's Suite (an orchestration of his Cinderella Ballet) depicts the part of the classic fairy-tale where Cinderella dances at the ball while the clock gets closer to midnight. As you get towards the end of this piece the luscious celebrations are invaded by anxious undertones. The music feels cinematic in scale and wouldn't be out of place in a modern day fantasy film.
