Strauss鈥檚 concerto is full of the energy and optimism you might expect a youthful and supremely-talented composer to have. It鈥檚 in 3 movements, and the more introspective 2nd movement carries on from the first without a break.The outer movements are in the heroic mould; the first is march-like, whilst the Rondo of the finale is more melodic and speedy.
