Watson recalls talking to child about starving
A former Labour deputy leader thinks the government 鈥渕ight have to concede鈥� on free meals for children in school holidays.
Speaking on 麻豆官网首页入口 Two's Politics Live, Tom Watson, who stood down as an MP last year, said talking to a starving child in his old constituency was 鈥渙ne of the saddest days of my life鈥�.
MPs rejected a Labour motion, by 322 votes to 261, to coffer meals to children through the school holidays.
