The Met's Christmas Appeal
The Metropolitan Police's annual Christmas Tree Appeal has opened virtually, for the first time since it started nine years ago. The campaign began with one tree outside New Scotland Yard being decorated with gift tags which provided information on how to buy a present for a child in care. This year, due to Covid-19, the appeal is completely virtual with all presents needing to be purchased online. Ross Ryan has the story...
