Will a $15 minimum wage destroy jobs?
There are a lot of items on President Biden's economic wish list. One is an increase in the federal minimum wage to $15, more than double the current rate.
Sasha Twining discusses what's at stake with Nicole Hallett, associate clinical professor of law at the university of Chicago. She's in favour of the raise. Also Nicole Riley, the Virginia state director for The National Federation of Independent Business - who is against - and Tina Miller, who owns Walkabout Outfitter, a handful of retail stores in Virginia.
