Valdis Dombrovskis on EU-China deal
The European Commission鈥檚 executive vice-president, Valdis Dombrovskis, has said that China has given 鈥渟ubstantial鈥� commitments over market access and measures to ensure a level playing field as part of the EU-China investment deal.
He told Hardtalk's Stephen Sackur that the deal was a focused investment agreement and was the first time China had taken on these kind of commitments with an international partner.
