Barbara Amiel: Repulsed by the years I wasted
Writer Barbara Amiel, who became Baroness Black of Crossharbour after marrying former media proprietor Conrad Black, recalls her society lifestyle of the 1990s.
She tells Hardtalk's Stephen Sackur: "I am repulsed I suppose by the years I wasted because life ends up being rather short and it pains me very much that I wasted time on this. It doesn't pain me that I was with Conrad. I think that is the best decision I ever made in my entire life."
