PM on 'appalling' Post Office software scandal
The jailing of Post Office staff after software problems was 鈥渙ne of the biggest miscarriages of justice in our history鈥�, Boris Johnson has said.
He was answering Conservative MP and former sub-postmaster Duncan Baker who called for a 鈥減roper judge-led public inquiry鈥� to bring justice to victims of the 鈥渉orrendous accounting scandal鈥� caused by Horizon software.
More than 700 people were wrongly convicted of offences of theft, fraud and false accounting.
