Kelly Cates looks back on the stories making the headlines on day nine of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics as Charlotte Worthington makes history by winning gold in the Women鈥檚 BMX freestyle. Max Whitlock also took gold as he held onto his Olympic title on the Pommel Horse.
Team GB also saw success in the pool when they got silver in the 4x100m medley relay making a total of 8 swimming medals in the tournament so far. The race also saw Duncan Scott become the first British athlete to win 4 medals at an Olympics.
In the highly anticipated men鈥檚 100m final, Italy鈥檚 Lamont Marcell Jacobs took gold whilst Great Britain鈥檚 Zharnel Hughes was disqualified in the final for a false start.
