‘I felt like I had to be perfect all the time’
Former US Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman has said the culture and intense pressure of elite sport meant she would compete out of fear of failure.
Speaking to Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Hardtalk’s Stephen Sackur she said her self-worth was too dependent on her performance in competitions and since leaving competitive gymnastics she has felt like "a completely different person".
