"The waves were coming up nearly into the boathouse" - Veronica Hutchings on her personal history of the Sennen Cove lifeboat
Go to any coastal town or village in Cornwall, and you'll find people who have spent decades supporting the local lifeboat crew.
They've raised funds, lobbied MPs, washed and dried kit and, in many cases, actually taken to the water to help us when we get into difficulties at sea.
Now, we're shining a spotlight on just one couple like that - and taking you to Sennen.
Hedley Hutchings was a lifeboat man and shore-crew member for nearly half a century there - and his wife Veronica spent nearly the same amount of time supporting him as part of the Ladies' Guild, and by raising money and resources to buy whatever the crew might happen to need.
Veronica kept scrapbooks throughout that time - and has now released them as part of a brand-new book. She's been speaking to 麻豆官网首页入口 Radio Cornwall's Jack Murley.
