This week son Andrew discusses frankly the mental impact that his Mum's decline is having on him. When he gets back home after a day with Carolyn, he's been falling deeply asleep straight after eating. He calls it a 'retreat into sleep' but says "I think the mental toll this takes is probably something that needs talking about".
