Many civilian buildings have been attacked during Russia's bombardment of Ukrainian cities. Many people sheltering in those building have been killed and injured. Blake Resnick, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Brinc Drones, has donated聽ten drones to help search and rescue teams in Ukraine find people trapped in the rubble of bombed buildings, and provided the resources to help train rescue teams to use them. He explains that the drones can be used in low-light conditions, and spaces where GPS doesn't work. The drones and can also be used to communicate with people - likening the drone's functionality to a "flying cell phone". He says the development of the technology was driven by a shooting in Las Vegas, Nevada, when it took emergency services over an hour to locate the room where the gunman was firing from, and that the delay resulted in more lives being lost.

"The drone can be sent into an environment that is too dangerous for a person, search around, try to find survivors, and get that information back to first-responders."
