Thousands of people came out to watch three of the biggest events put on in the city as part of a series of finale events. French artists Gratte Ciel performed their world premier of The Awakening in Broadgate over two nights.
This was followed by a cast of hundreds which made up the This is the City parade showcasing the best of Coventry's City of Culture year. Thousands of people lined the streets as the procession followed a circular route through the city centre.
And finally the UK's longest ever drone show took to the skies above Coventry's War Memorial Park. Our Wilder Family lasted 16 minutes and featured a special soundscape made up of poetry and voices of local primary school children. More than 27,000 people braved the rain to watch the show which was dedicated to nature and wildlife.e.
