UN responds to sexual harassment allegations

For the first time, the UN claims "systems have been put in place" to break allegations of a culture of fear at the organisation.

A former UN senior advisor and a number of female staff say they were vulnerable to sexual abuse and predatory behaviour while working at the UN.

The secretary general's spokesman, Stephane Dujarric responds to allegations that "women are treated inferiorly to men."

Last month, the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú documentary 'The Whistleblowers: Inside the UN' detailed allegations of sexual abuse, corruption, misogyny and management turning a blind eye to wrongdoing.
