British musician and entrepreneur Tom Cridland has forged a successful career paying tribute to the music and artistic legacy of one of the world's most accomplished performers, Elton John. He has toured the world playing all of Elton John's best loved classic hits, which he always does live and without backing tracks.

But as well as being a tribute act, Tom is also a singer-songwriter in his own right. He tells Julian Worricker that he was inspired by Elton John not only because he is a great talent, but also because "he pushed a lot of boundaries."
