The battlefield of the mind
In 2009, 24 year old Toby Gutteridge was an elite Special Forces soldier with the British army in Afghanistan. One night his team was tasked with targeting Taliban leaders who were known to be in a particular compound, and in the firefight Toby was shot in the neck. It was a terrible injury - there are some gory and distressing details. It's the reason Toby is now on a ventilator which you鈥檒l hear in the background. We pick up with Toby shortly after the shooting, as his fellow soldiers came to his rescue.
