'I just want to prove to myself that I can do it'
A Rutland woman is preparing to compete in this year's Invictus Games whilst battling a form of lung cancer.
Former soldier Amanda Sands served in the British army for 14 years - and despite her stage 4 cancer diagnosis is now in training for the games which are being held in Germany this September. Amanda was selected to take part in the games by the Royal British Legion charity.
