Kuleba: 鈥淯kraine has friends backing its struggle鈥�
Ukraine鈥檚 Foreign Minister has said that he wakes every day with a single thought: Have I done enough yesterday for Ukrainian solder taking part in the counteroffensive?鈥�
In an interview with Stephen Sackur for 麻豆官网首页入口 HARDtalk, Dmytro Kuleba said Ukraine鈥檚 counteroffensive against Russia is slowly advancing.
鈥淭he most important thing is to keep moving forward whatever the pace,鈥� he said.
鈥� I wish we broke all the lines by now and reached the Sea of Azov, but we are not stopping. And you have to take into account that for nine months Russia was literally digging into the land, into the soil, reinforcing its trenches with concrete and steel and mining virtually every square metre. In some areas our soldiers are moving only two or three hundred metres per day, crawling鈥�.
Mr Kuleba was in London for the two-day Ukraine Recovery conference to encourage public and private investment that he says is vital to rebuilding his country.
