The nominees for the Clean our Air category are all fighting to provide us with access to a healthier environment to breathe. In London, ENSO have created new tyres for electric cars that significantly reduce the air pollution caused by degrading rubber. In Poland, Polish Smog Alert campaign for clean air legislation and an end to the use of coal in urban environments. And in Hong Kong and China, GRST have developed a new type of Lithium battery that they claim is much greener, and could power many more electric vehicles – reducing air pollution as they do so.
