Fally Ipupa is one of Congo鈥檚 biggest artists, but he has been unable to perform in Europe for most of his career.

This is because members of the DR Congo diaspora have blocked concerts and tours by musicians from the Democratic Republic of Congo as a way of expressing their opposition to its government. Some accused artists of being too close to power and not speaking out about crimes being committed.

Ahead of his first-ever concert in London next month, Fally Ipupa performs exclusively for This Is Africa.
