Uganda's 'jubilation' after reaching T20 World Cup

Uganda鈥檚 men鈥檚 cricket captain Brian Masaba has described the country reaching the ICC Men鈥檚 T20 World Cup for the first time as a 鈥渄ream come true".

The team led by Masaba won five of their six qualifying games to secure a top-two finish in the Africa Region Qualifier and their spot at the 2024 T20 World Cup in the West Indies and USA.

Masaba tells Sport Today鈥檚 Lee James how momentous this achievement is for the country, how playing against the best teams in the world will be the 鈥渟tuff of dreams鈥 and the impact he hopes it will have on Ugandan and African cricket.

Uganda, who are nicknamed the Cricket Cranes, will become the fifth different African nation to feature at the ICC Men鈥檚 T20 World Cup.
