Tory MP Dr Neil Hudson on XL bully dog ban: 鈥楾here鈥檚 an element we need to stamp down on鈥�

It鈥檚 now illegal to own an XL bully dog in England and Wales without an exemption certificate.

Dr Neil Hudson, who is Conservative MP for Penrith & The Border since 2019 and a vet, welcomes the ban.

Speaking to 5 Live鈥檚 Nihal Arthanayake, Dr Hudson said: 鈥淭he government and local authorities will work with owners who鈥檝e brought their dogs forward to keep their dogs.鈥�
