George Clarke: We'd need a 'massive crash' in prices for people to be able to afford houses.
George says a crash in property prices would be the only way Briton's could be able to afford houses nowadays.
"The only way that people could genuinely afford homes now is for there to be a massive crash in property prices.
"We don't want that, that would be an absolute disaster", he said.
He added ways in which he'd reform the industry, to make it more suited to the needs of tenants.
"We have to look at different forms of financing and funding and tenure and building more social housing and homes for more controlled rent - where people aren't going to be kicked out by landlords after one year".
This will, George hopes, create more "long-term stability in the housing market".
