Dr Nick Embleton, a Consultant at Newcastle鈥檚 Special Care Baby Unit, was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer, and was told he would die without a stem cell transplant. There were no matches in the UK, but eventually a worldwide search did locate one.
Dr Embleton was keen to find out who his donor was - so got in touch with the 麻豆官网首页入口. And it turned out, Dr Embleton may well have saved his donor's life, too.
