Mbappe to Real Madrid: 'The stars have aligned for this to happen'
Spanish football journalist Guilleme Balague discusses Mbappe's move to Real Madrid, and why now was the right time for the Frenchman to move.
The France captain, 25, has agreed a deal with the Spanish giants after telling PSG he intends to leave the club when his contract expired in June 2024.
Mbappe has not signed a contract with Real yet, but the deal could be announced once it is no longer possible for the clubs to meet in this season's Champions League.
The World Cup winner is PSG's record goalscorer, having scored 244 goals during his seven years with the club.
