What next for Great Yarmouth’s Herring Bridge?
Investigations continue into why Great Yarmouth’s new road bridge keeps getting stuck.
The £121m Herring Bridge, which officially opened on 1 February, was closed indefinitely on 14 March after it got stuck in the down position on two occasions in one day.
Norfolk County Council’s cabinet member for highways, infrastructure and transport tells Andrew Turner it is ‘embarrassing’ but not impacting tax payers.
