In 2022, Dominic Chapman signed up to a fundraising boxing fight at Tramps nightclub in Worcester. He collapsed shortly after his bout, and sadly died in hospital two days later.

Since then, Dominic's family have been calling for answers.

On the first day of the inquest, Tuesday 14th May, their solicitor claimed the night had been mismanaged by Ultra Events, suggesting other fighters had expressed concern over the quality and safety of the equipment, including the boxing gloves, and that opponents weren't fairly matched with one another.

Our reporter Tom Edwards was listening as the company's boss said Mr Chapman was ready for his bout, and his opponent was a fair match.
