Corridor Care: ‘Normalising the abnormal’
A Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú investigation has found that dozens of hospitals are treating people in corridors due to overcrowding – the Norfolk and Norfolk University hospital included. The argument for it is that it frees up space for ambulances to handover patients. The hospital says the new way of working is saving lives, but some say it’s come at too high a cost. Nikki Fox reports.
