Hereford veteran launches ‘ground-breaking’ app

The former army paramedic spent 23 years helping wounded soldiers, now he wants to give back, by leading a campaign to make sense of and improve the nation's mental health.

Dave Swann served in places like Iraq, Afghanistan and Bosnia for the Royal Army Medical Corps, where he literally stitched soldiers back together. He has launched a new app, which is being offered to offices and communities across the country.

The army veteran tells our reporter Tom Edwards how he has battled his own mental health problems, has launched the 'Our Pulse' app in Hereford, helping organisations monitor the wellbeing of their workplaces and teams.
