British runner Iwan Thomas explains how fellow compatriot, Kriss Akabusi inspired him to win three gold medals in 1998.

Akabusi told Iwan to think like a European Champion, and recommended him to write 'Iwan Thomas European Champion' on post-it notes and dot them round his house.

"My ex-girlfriend thought I was crazy", Iwan recalled.

"I ended up winning the Europeans and from there I went and won the World Cup that year and the Commonwealth Games all over 400 metres", he said.
