The untold Cookham love story of Dorothy and Patricia
Dorothy Hepworth and Patricia Preece became nearly inseparable from the moment they met at the Slade School of Fine Art in 1918. The pair built quite the reputation for their great artwork before moving to Cookham. However, no-one would know the truth of their relationship until decades later when it was revealed Patricia Preece took all the credit for Dorothy's drawings, the two fooling the art world for fifty years.
