Taxi driver blasts 'humiliating' English test
A Grantham taxi driver says he would be 'humiliated' to have to take a test to prove he can understand English.
Barry Drake, who's 70 and has been driving a taxi for 17 years, believes the test should not apply to drivers renewing their licences.
South Kesteven District Council extended the requirement to cover established as well as new drivers in May 2024.
