'Aged 16, I was told I'd never have kids'
Bromsgrove filmmaker Rebecca Walshe opens up on how her rare condition, Mayer-Rokitanksy-Kuster-Hauser syndrome, has changed her life, physically and mentally.
MRKH was brought up on the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú's Race Across The World series when Betty Mukherjee opened up to her brother James about being diagnosed aged 16 - the same age as Rebecca.
The rare condition means a woman is born with ovaries, but no womb.
Rebecca says the diagnosis made her question her self and her identity, before coming to terms with the condition. She tells Elliott Webb why she is on a mission to raise awareness or MRKH, at the helm of a new film.
