Women who studied physical education teacher training in Bedford from the 1900s were only awarded a certificate of education, rather than a formal degree.

But from 2022, the University of Bedfordshire began awarding honorary degrees to former students.

Jane Killick tells hears how some women had to wait until they were in their late 90s to get that recognition.
