Worcestershire Hoard: 'Largest of its kind'
Discover the coins which are nearly 2,000 years old, the 'miraculous' discovery of its type the past century, according to experts.
The 1,368 items span 200 years of Roman history in an important piece of archaeology, found between Leigh and Bransford. The coins have images of Gods or the then-emperor, Nero, on the one side, with various decorations on the other.
Dr Murray Andrews is a Lecturer in Archaeology, he tells Matt Hutchinson how the aim is to keep this haul in public hands for the people of Worcestershire in the long term.
