55. December on the Plot

Down to earth advice on growing your own fruit and vegetables with allotment gardener Terry Walton, from his plot in the Rhondda valley

Down to earth advice on growing your own fruit and vegetables with allotment gardener Terry Walton, from his plot in the Rhondda valley.
Terry inspects the plot after another stormy weekend. The empty beds have been dug over and left for the weather to do its work over the winter.
Most of the Walton Christmas dinner will come from the allotment, with the exception of carrots after a disappointing harvest.
In the shelter of the greenhouse it's time to make a mix of rich compost to prepare for next year's crops.
Terry will be back in January with another Plotcast, looking forward to a better gardening year in 2025!
