The legacy of a King’s Lynn mayor 100 years on
Leading women have come together to celebrate King’s Lynn’s first female mayor.
Florence Ada Coxon become of the mayor of King’s Lynn in November 1925.
There’s a display in the Stories of Lynn Museum drawing parallels between Mrs Coxon’s achievements and those of contemporary women leaders.
Clare Worden went to meet King's Lynn Borough Archivist Luke Shackell to find out more.
