Dru Shearn
Since Dru Shearn was three years old he knew he wanted be a doggy doctor.
Originally from a small town near Bath, Dru was told by teachers that he wasn鈥檛 academic enough to achieve his dream career but through pure dedication, hard work and strength of mind Dru persevered and got himself into The Royal Veterinary College.
Dru is very sporty; a previous RVC sports president and an enthusiastic member of the rugby team - but his exercise obsession has a consequence. He is very accident prone - during his final year he鈥檚 managed to break his finger and get a black eye!
But despite his occasional mishaps Dru is incredibly independent and mature, traits he proudly attributes to his parents. His mother has severe multiple sclerosis and has never been able to visit him at university, so Dru wanted to appear in the documentary so that his Mum could see what he does.
