Ray's Profile
Ray Khan developed a taste for talking on the microphone while working at a large department store in Birmingham where he was regularly elected to speak on the public address system in between the music and he hasn鈥檛 stopped since.
He applied to go on a community Radio Training Programme and learnt the tricks of the trade at Handsworth College and Aston University in Birmingham.

Ray started his on air broadcasting career in the 90鈥檚 with a one hour News and Current affairs show on the 麻豆官网首页入口 Asian Network called 鈥楨ast in West鈥�. But this was merely the beginning. Equipped with new skills and experience Ray was very quickly snapped up by independent broadcasters. In 1993 Ray presented the Breakfast show and was also head of programmes at a 24 hour commercial Asian radio station in the Midlands.
In 1995 Ray Khan joined another commercial station as the Drive-time presenter where he made a big name for himself. Ray, known for having itchy feet, left and came back to the 麻豆官网首页入口 Asian Network to host its flagship Breakfast shows. After spending a number of years on the Breakfast shows, Ray enjoyed tremendous success on 麻豆官网首页入口 Asian Networks Drive-time shows and later the legendary 10pm shows.
